Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to stories of hope and relevant support – and as such, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion are at the heart of everything we do.
Our aim is for our Champions Cinema to be truly representative of all sections of society, and for each person who uses the platform to feel respected and able to give their best.
We value Diversity and we recognise that different people bring different perspectives, ideas, knowledge, and culture, and that this difference brings great strength, and it is this strength that we wish to communicate.
Equality is about ensuring everybody has an equal opportunity at home, work, and in society, and that each person is not treated differently or discriminated against because of their characteristics. In simple terms, whatever your age, race, gender, you should still have the opportunity to reach your potential within society according to the equality of opportunity.
Diversity is about difference and empowering people by respecting and appreciating what makes them different in terms of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation and education.
Inclusion is about making these differences work so the individual can be their authentic self and feel valued.
Positivity
For those struggling with life it can be hard to find positive stories from people who have survived and thrived. It is hoped that by hearing from people who can help or have overcome similar challenges, people will feel less inhibited or stigmatised about their issues and will reach out and take personal ownership of them.
And for those who do not understand we must educate.
